well theres lots of diffrent exhaust systems around but the most popular ones are maniflow and rc40. like this one http://www.minisport...fo_LST004A.html there are a few diffrent choices thow like side exsit or centre exsit also twin slicencer or single. the single slicencer is louder than the twin.

Will this increase the insurance premium?

I have a stage 2 maniflow lcb mated to a fletcher side exit. Sounds amazing (for a 998 anyway).

Stage 1 kit will increase your premium, but if you don't tell them and something happens, your insurance is void and you could struggle to find insurance in future. Not to mention them not paying out if you're in an accident.

Don't forget to have it all nicely set up on a mini friendly rolling road.

Matt.

If your getting an exhaust you might aswell get the whole kit, Along with a full exhaust, you will get an inlet manifold (needed with a new manifold) new airfilter and carb needle which is needed really aswell.

So you wouldnt recommend CLICKY ?
How much would the premium go up by for a kit, rough figure. also how much for a local garage to fit, again, rough figure.

if all you want is a better sound but dont want the hassle/expense of a stage 1 kit then check this out

http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item3a5588dca9

ive never had one so cant comment on them but basically all you would then need is the link pipe and exit pipe, you wouldnt touch the carb/engine side and could probably do it yourself in no time.
