Cheers bud i`ll have to get one of those ordered. Got a 3.1kg Red Top 8 at the moment....it all adds up! I was only there in the morning as I had to get back home, fuse box melted itself anyway on last run! Shame about the shaft. Did you manage to get it fixed and get a run in at all?

PS: we have the same rear beam!  :D

Yea it does, what does your car weigh? I imagine the engine really helps drop the weight.

I got it fixed but it was way to late by then and i was supposed to be leaving early but failed on that. Should probably trailer it next time.

Awesome, i love Carls stuff.

Top top car everytime i see it such workman ship has gone into this, and she is always loosing the weight lol

Thank you :)

Yeah R1 really helps. Engine & Gearbox weigh 65kg. Diff, reverse box, sprocket & chain add a fair few back on though but it`s still comfortably under 500kg with a full tank, without me sat in it.

I always tend to trailer mine to and from Tracks, it just takes the worry away!

That's good! I'm at 548kg. I trailered it to goodwood last week, trouble I have is its my dads trailer and I don't have a license to use it.

Need to borrow him every time which is a pain.

Must book in and do my test.

What car are you towing with and what trailer? I know I'm allowed to tow as long as the tow car and trailer and car combo doesn't weigh more than 3500kg, I'm younger than you on a basic license

Looking at the rules again. I could definitely use his trailer with my civic type s diesel.

I always thought you weren't allowed to tow a braked trailer for some reason.

wow that's light! I seen you at pod but every time I went to chat you was firing up or I was lol.

jonny the only down side with towing is there is no real shake down on the car, as I found it was always the little silly stuff would go wrong.

Hi mate

Looking through your thread there at your pedal box, what type of wilwood box did you go for in the end (pedal ratio), did you have any clearance issues fitting it it around the column? also what size master cylinders did you opt for?

Have to order the box for my own project this week and id like to try go with something that is proven to work on a mini.

Cheers, sorry for all the questions

I use this pedal box

No clearance issues

I use these cylinders .625 on fronts, .75 rear and .625 clutch. I think! Can't remember lol. http://www.rallydesi...th=562_582_2043

No problem. I also have a bias valve on the rear as I found it helpful when setting up the brake balance. I started getting some strange angles on the bias assembly on the pedal box.

Not bad, not far off but I keep playing with an early 90's civic at the moment so not done much with it.

No I have one in the line itself. They're designed to be used to limit the rears on single line systems but you can use them on dual line with the same effect. I didn't like the angles I got on the bar with the brakes adjusted how I wanted.

This on but paid less elsewhere.

No EF shape. ED7 to be precise, I had one about 5 years ago and now I have another.
