Also how do you find those mirrors? i need to fit one before my MOT and i am torn between kit car ish like yours or simple round overtaking mirror clipped on the pillar.

The 5 panel rear view mirror? I find it ok, it gives a good all round vision you can see a bit through the rear quater windows. I think a longacre style one would be better though.

The wing mirrors i love. They're great, excellent view out of them. They are the more expensive type with a proper mirror.

Also thanks for the kind words!

Got my Ti rear beam in after a lot of messing about. It wouldn't clear the arms at first but with a lot of material removed its fitted nicely. I'm sure its increased the rear track a little over the huddersfield beam.

I wouldn't say its the best designed beam it would be so much easier to work on with a few small improvements. It has saved me about 4kg though!

Ordered all my fittings for oil/water lines. Need to buy a flywheel for my RTS and it should be good to go.

Went to Brands hatch retro cars track day. Really enjoyed it, car was fun on track. Found a few issues to sort.

I also managed to get second in highly modified at London to Brighton.

Took the car to LSMOC track day at goodwood. Was so much fun. Was nice to go round a track with some similar cars. Very happy with my driving and the car. I think i only had two people pass all day (supercharged k20 z car and a new cooper works).

The brakes took a hammering after getting them set up properly.

I did however have a duff alternator reg and killed the battery as i hadn't noticed.

I've made a few improvements.

Li-Ion battery, dropped 5.6kg from my Power V AMP race battery. It starts the car easily enough. I've bodged in a voltmeter to just to keep an eye on it.

Added a KAD ARB at 4.5kg total. Bit of a pain to fit as i had to move the tank but i hope it means i can soften up the rear and reduce body roll. Its a lovely bit of kit.

Dude I follow you on istagram & just found your build - it is completely & utterly immense! Car looked incredible at MITP too, tried so spot you but didn`t ever see you next to your car unfortunately.

Quick question, that 900g battery would you mind telling me where you sourced it?

Thanks dude! Builds hidden away in mini variants that no one looks at lol. Was wondering around all the time it was on mini mag stand. Went to go up the strip and snapped a shaft so spent rest of day fitting a new one.

It came from eBay it's a YTX14-BS lithium. Quite a few people have been using them, they don't like to get cold or be overcharged.

I didn't get to look around your car, it did look very good up the strip!

Cheers bud i`ll have to get one of those ordered. Got a 3.1kg Red Top 8 at the moment....it all adds up! I was only there in the morning as I had to get back home, fuse box melted itself anyway on last run! Shame about the shaft. Did you manage to get it fixed and get a run in at all?

PS: we have the same rear beam!  :D
