Its gone on quite nicely i did put it on a little to thick in a couple of places but you can't see it so i'm not bothered!

New mask and paint.

 

Body colour on the underside.

 

 

Looks quite grey in the picture but its a variation of Smoke Grey and is quite blue.

 

I did not use the BMC colour code of BU.15 i used a british standard colour code of BS381 692. I used this as basically it was a lot cheaper! 

 

BU.15 from my local paint shop was about £250 for 5L whereas i got this for £60 from... http://auto-paint.co...d&productId=241

 

It is obviously cheaper for a reason although It seems to have gone on nicely though with only a few runs. Which are my fault as it was my first go at putting proper colour on.

Not to sure to be honest. Needs a rollcage next then i'll paint the inside, boot and engine bay in the garage/fresh air. I want to build a booth to do the outside though. I'd say April/May probably for the outside, then done a month or two after.

 

You know how these things are though, it'll probably be April 2015!

Sounds good , I've set a few "deadlines" for mine but now I think it'll be done when it's done sort of thing there's no point in rushing itb and doing a poor job.

Its been back on it wheels for a while. tried the wheels and arches together.

 

Should work well. Need to cut the miglias down.
