It's made by arc angels. They seem to be making a few other steadies from carbon kevlar to. No pictures yet though.

You could probably just sand the spreader plate to be fair jonny :)
Blue
What do you mean blue?
I wouldn't want to trim the back of the mount as it looks quite vital to its strength

Sorry my bad. I thought the horizontal part of the steady was pressing against the bulkhead and thus not letting the vertical part of the steady bolt up flush. Just ignore me :)
Ahhh right. No the horizontal peice on the lower mount goes through the vertical part and is bonded at the back.

i had the exact same fit issues with my ITG filter from MED. Also dont forget to oil it as itg say it needs doing but they come dry!
Annoying isn't it. It's not hard to state when buying it that you will need to trim the carb a little.
Yea, I have some K&N oil. It won't be running for a while though!

dont use k&n oil though. its not good for foam filters apparently and it voids the warranty on the filter. i used some silkolene stuff (the itg stuff is a royal PITA to get hold of) for motorbike filters. cost about £5 for a huge tin.
cool build though by the way. would love a minus.
Who told you that? Would have thought oil is oil. It's just designed to catch dust particals.
Thanks. It's getting there slowly.

itg did. its also in their catalogue. there are additives in cotton filter oil that can damage foam ones and lead to them coming apart.

So it does.
I used it on my old foam filter (whoops). I better buy some proper stuff now. Thanks for that!
