I'm contemplating about an internal gear linkage but don't know much on the subject. What are you doing for yours Jonny?
Keep it up (thats what she said)

I bought the KAD kit. Its fairly simple to knock together. Had a little trouble getting the roll pins out of the original setup but it wasn't that bad.
I've yet to fit the brackets, which should be interesting as they don't sit to well on the tunnel. The minus one must be more angled than a standard tunnel. Then i'll have to drill the hole for the linkage to go through. That should be easy though.
All this is in aid of getting my cage in. Need a pedal box and a way to mount the steering column. Then its cage time.... hopefully. Then paint.... maybe.

I may invest in an internal linkage kit, but could possibly nock one up if you say the KAD one fits a bit naff.

You could make one quite easily. I'll take some pics when I fit it. The good thing about the kad one though is it comes with the short shift and changes how to get it into reverse.

It is! Has a 68mm core. The back you can't quite see but it angles in, this picture shows it better....

Are the hubs SC ones? Nice alloy bits there! I can say that because I have them too!
Yes they are. They came from DSN but they have something to do with SC so are the same.
Haha every gram counts!!

Rear window area ready for the window to be test bolted in, the dots were to work out how many bolts i would need.
Should have it bolted in tomorrow morning, scary trying to get it nice and straight. Will then remove it and finish the lip by trimming it back to suite.
Cheers

Also have you had any thoughts on pedal boxes yet? I think i'm going to go ahead and use an after market one possibly a wilwood or tilton unit but I need to measure up first to see what will fit. I think I'd have the reservoir mounted just above where the normal master cylinder goes.

I was looking at this one... http://www.superfast...ACEPEDALKIT.htm
Although i contacted JB fabrication about making one and he is in the process of doing one. Although he's very slow at it!
I was going to have the reservoir inside the car.

I have added a large amount. It looks a lot more as i have feathered it in quite a lot. I will probably remove some once I've got the screen bolted in place, just didn't want to put to little in.

I saw that kit too and had a guy on the 16v forum take a picture of it:

It is a fair chunk of change and I wondered if I could maybe nock one up for less with something like this:
http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=4075
and using this as a reservoir as it has a float built into the cap already and you only have one overall level to keep your eye on:
