You should be able to do that fine. Get the block off the box tommorow and get your dad to run you over to him and give it do him
He will do that before tuesday easy and then youve got til sat to get the engine back in
Piss easy
HAHA yes it sounds easy. I am trying my best. If push comes to shove I could always forget to go to college a couple of day next week lol.
i love the sticker bomb dash and if you want the clubby back on the road asap can you not just put the diff from your other minis engine on it? then use the re-built one on the other engine or are they 2 different kinds of diffs? and nice shiny black engine bay and if your re-spraying one of your frills im finding poundland primer and gloss black is quite good, the black needs put on when its quite warm though, i used a heat gun
HAHA no sadly not. I broke the diff in the red car as well. That was the final reason that one got taken off the road. I have a heavy foot lol.

Talk to Brian mate, thats the best idea.
I have spoken to him. I have a list of stuff it could be from the garage. I don't want to pester Brian too much at the moment. He's really ill with the flu. Brooklands is looking bleak!

What exactly did it do last time you drove it?
If you KNOW its the diff gone in the 998 engine. Get that one sorted then put that box under the 1275

if the diff on the 998 is screwed then why not just put the diff from the clubman engine on the 998 since you said there was nothing wrong with it and then you can go to brooklands with a 998?
Hummmm I could do although the 998 is pretty much stripped down so is a lot of effort to put back together just to put in the car to go to a show.
I'm gonna carry on trying to get the 1275 fixed in time. If its not done buy 3:00 next Saturday I have a back up plan.
As its my Birthday on the Sunday (same day as Brooklands) I'm just gonna go out Saturday night drink my weight in booze then wake up Sunday with a huge hangover, get a lift with Jesus and have a snooze in his car on the way. Walk round the show hung over buying crap I dont need then snooze in his car on the way home. PLAN!

Dunno. I'll see what my dad says.

Anyway I have been doing work over the last few days but with going out most evenings I'm not had a chance to update this.
The fuel tank that came in the car leaked round the top as the lip the fuel lock goes on too was damaged so I replaced the tank. Did some more sticker bombing while I was at it. Things didn't got well when I removed the old fuel tank though. Their was no clip on the fuel line so as I pulled it it came straight off and fuel went ever where.
Petrol all down the drive.
New tank in.
Sometime though the summer it will come out again and I'm going to spray the inside of the boot OEW.
I also fitted some roofless goodies.
I rewired all the stereo wiring ready for the dash to be fitted.
While doing this i was removing some of the dash trim/soundproofing stuff around and found an MP3 player. RESULT!
I got the engine off the gearbox. Everything inside the gearbox looks fine so I'm still no closer to finding out whats wrong.
So I'm now gonna start putting everything back together!
Thanks for reading.
