You can just nut and bolt them on. If you take the chrome strip off the top of the door then you can get at the inside, some short nuts and bolts and they are on.

I think I may just end up doing this for now although I need to block up the other holes somehow first.

Right I had a spare half hour today so removed the fuel tank and fitted my other rear light.

Really pleased with it. Just need to put the clubby bumper on the back and it will be perfect!

Thanks for reading.

Those rear lights just set it off, much better than the clubby standards. Dice are a nice touch too, never seen that before. Should be great when everything is finished to how you like......but they never are, always something else to get for em :)

Thanks mate. Yea I defo like the Mk2 lights better. One of the best mods you can do to a mini in my opinion. Just makes the back of a mini look so much more tidier.

Right pulled my finger out today. Got the engine ready to be lifted out. Hopefully I'll get it out one evening this week.

Posted Image

The speedo has also been removed so I can put the dash in with a working speedo once the engines back in.

Posted Image

So I need the engine out, gearbox off, diff rebuilt and then box back on and engine in. Gonna try and get it done for the 27th as thats Brooklands and my birthday so would be nice to drive the car their as it will be her first mini show with me.

Will I get it done. We shall see.

Thanks for reading!

Right today has been a good day. Was meant to go to college but decided if I wanted this done for brooklands I better hurry up and get this engine out.

So with help from a couple of mates. The engine came out.

Posted Image

Also while fiddling around today I loosely put the dash in to see what it will look like.

I also put some wiring in for the speaker pods I bought from optimise automotive so a very productive day.

O and one last thing. I got a text from my dad today saying he has bought me flywheel puller so I can crack straight on with the engine stripping! I love days where everything just seem to go well.

Thanks for reading.

Cheers mate. I started on the fuel tank today. I think I need one of those kits from roofless.

Right well I got a few more bits done today. I painted one of my spare clubby grill and put it on too see what it would look like.

I quite like it. I may get it powder coated as the finish isnt very good as I just used the paint I had laying around spare.

I also got the rear bumper fitted.

2moz is my day off so I'm hoping to get the dash in all properly and make a start on the engine.

Thanks.

Well nothings wrong with the engine as such.. I'v broken the diff. I just need to take the box off the block and get it over to my mini mans house so he can rebuild the diff for me. Hoping to get that done and get the engine back in ready for brooklands. Just over a week I think I'll struggle if I'm honest.
