Cheers. Don't suppose it will ever be finished really. Just a little faster thanks to a few extra valves :)

Look what has made its way in to this months fast car mag.

Posted Image

Fitted some HIDs as well which I know some people will hate but I must say seeing as most of my trip to and from work is unlit country roads and I start work at 5 or 6 most mornings its great being able to see where I am going in the morning.

Although sadly the car is currently off the road. I have a problem with something on the drives side. Dodgy wheel bearing maybe. I need to look in to it. I started today and took most of it to bits but its just too bloody cold to be laying on a driveway working on car. I dont like doing it but I may call it quits and give it to my mate to sort who has a nice big barn with a ramp in it.

Right I have had the flu for the past 5 days now so have not really done a lot. Anyway. Thankfully my mate took it to his garage and started to take everything to bits. Its as I thought. A dodgy wheel bearing. All the bearings had just fallen out. It caused so much play my brake disc had rubbed on the hub causing some lovely gouges in my brake disc. Anyway I wont be buying bearings from the same place again so my mate has given me his spare set and I'v ordered a new set from MiniSpeed. Hopefully he will get everything done tonight.

Also bought myself a little sub for the boot. Not gonna win any sound comps with it but should give any extra little kick.

Thats about it for now. Ta.

Right well new year and a new show season is on its way so thought I better crack on and tidy the car up.

So I stripped out the inside. I has a leaky window which soaked the carpets. Under the carpets I had some soundproofing which had soaked up all the water and was pretty horrid. So its all been binned. I have also sold the bucket seats. They were cool but do a lot of miles in this had have also hurt my back so want something comfy. So i have some standard brown/red seats in at the moment. Looking at getting some retrimmed seats very soon. Door cards will be coming out soon as well as my GF has said she will get some new ones for my bday. Might order those at Bingley. Plan is to get everything ready for Brooklands as thats the first show I plan to take the car too.

Thats about it for now. Ta.

I took my special wheels for force racing to split but they weren't there! So that will have to wait so I am running the pink superlights again for the time being. Next on the shopping list is a Newton Carpet set and too order my doors cards.

Thats is about it for now! Ta.

Thanks. I am mega pleased with it. I have just ordered some sound proofing, some new rear bin liners and some new rear wheel arch covers in black with cream sticking. Just need to sort out the door cards next. Having these again.

In black again but I am getting the stitching done in cream. Nice little touch on an old design.
