Thanks. I quite liked the roofbars. Just had them on for a while so thought I'd take them off for a bit. No doubt they will end up back on their at some point though.

Thanks! Urrm I'm about an 45 mins/1hour away from minispeed. I know them quite well their now though and they give a bit of a discount and are also really friendly and helpful hence the reason I keep going back. I live just outside Basingstoke.

Same for me, Scott is quite a dude and tends to sort me out there. I live Farnborough so similar distance. On my second mini but new to forums, seems a great way to get advice and contacts. All my mini mates are London way so would be great to know some more peeps from the local area. wish i had started a post like this its a great read!

O right I see. Yea forums are a great way of getting help and advise you need. Also good way of making new mates. I'v met loads of people on here. If you want to join a mini club sign your self up to www.basingstokeminiclub.co.uk we have members are all over the place. Farnbourgh, Camberley, Aldershot, Andover, Winchester not just Basingstoke, So a great way to meet some more localish people.

Awesome thead! just spent the morning and evening reading through and can say i am jealous ! would love a chubby clubby! wide and low mmm and mgzr? go for a rover 200 and put the mg bits on, cheaper and can get the same performance with some mods! and if you end up wanting bits i have a mate who is breaking his 200 with Zr parts, after his gear linkages messed up on the m25 :)

Thanks! Means alot when someone complements her. Don't think the MG ZR with be happening now. Or not just yet anyway. After driving around in her for the last few days I think I'v started to get my mini bug back so I'm gonna use her as much as possible. May get something else towards the end of the year.

She is now sat on 10s! Massive thanks to toyboy for this! Was a bit of a pain as the front passenger side kept leaking but after a quick change of pipe that was solved!



Crap pic I know lol. I'll get a better one 2moz. Shes on my motorsport wellers while I sort the banded steels out. They should be on ready for Brooklands!

RIght another update!

Heres a better pic of the wellers!



Now I'v dropped a wheels size the back does need to be dropped a bit more. Ill wait until the banded steels are on to do this though.

Speaking of which I got them backed from the powder coaters!





So pleased with them! Next step is get the tyres fitted. I also need to paint up the hub caps!
