I know. When we bought the car it was gonna be put in my dads name as he was gonna have it once my red ones done. Thats not happening any more but thats another story. Anyway in the end it was put in my name as my insurance said my policy would be invalid if it was in someone else's name. So I have basically been driving around for a year with no insurance. curse my life.

Not really because the car was still legally yours after an exchange of values. Ie you giving money and getting the car.
So it was still yours just not on the paperwork and its not your fault.

Yea but it still would have a been a massive faff lol. Anyway. It will hopefully all be sorted soon. I'm gonna keep driving her round the block every few days so she doest start to seize up. Plus at least with her off the road it gives me a chance to get some other bits done. Like fit these new brakes!

just read this from start to finish and it looks a real good rolling project you got yourself mate! really nice car, i want to see these wheels on and done tho ive always fancied some satin black banded 12" 7or8" wide :)

Thanks. to be honest I'v kinda lost motivation with it at the moment. Its currently sorn. I'm sure I'll get back in to it soon. I was gonna paint the wheels myself but its really not warm enough and I really dont have the time to be rubbing all the wheels down at the mo so I think i'll just get them powdercoated. My mare will do the lot for £160 anyway so cant really go wrong. I'm also gonna get it booked in to body shop to get some paint sorted and find someone who will fit the rooflining.

Wheels are going to the powder coaters this week! I just need to go to Halfords and get some OEW paint mixed for the hub caps. I also fitted some adjustable shocks on the front as well. I'm also gonna get my motor sport wellers fitted while the steels are being done so I can sell the revos on! So if anyone wants some 12x6 revos let me know!

Right Bingley update!

First of all I got this of Craig!



So parking is now gonna be quite a challenge lol.

I also bought these!



Set of 10x6 revos. I said to my mum before I left I wouldn't buy any more 10" wheels as I have quite alot now lol. I was just gonna buy some tyres for the banded steels. The tyres were £180 new then while going out the auto jumble found those wheels with as good as new tyres. The guys wanted £100 for them! Bargain. So the tyres will be taken off them soon and swapped over. I also bought the wheels nuts so I can fit the banded steels. Yay!
