I have 5*10 mambas on my clubman and struggle to fit under group 2 arches. I would think with 6*10 mambas you would need group 2 wide arches.

A very underused arch: Bullet arches, use on mainly german export models!

Not very common at all, and will fit 6" wheels perfectly.

Who makes these?

With my 7x13 there is a little bit of tyre protruding teh arch, so 6" wide wheels should almost fit flush with the arch.

Here is a picture of my mini last winter, with 5" wheels (they where my snow tyres, the mini has changed somewhat sice then too). The wheels where really over arched - I hated how it looked.

well i got cooper s with 4 pot brakes and thought that i could use small (ish) arches like the specials or mote carlo's but ive found out know that for 6 x 10 mambas with cooper s brake you have to use something a little wider like group 2 wide arches or these bullet arches that have been pictured above. i think i will probably use the bullet arches as these just look nice and no fuss arches :) and yes i will post pictures when i have put em on :)

just had my clubby resprayed and the ABS W&P ones from minispares look nice, not too thin or too wide. just need two pairs of hands to fit them. good thing about them is that you dont need to drill into the wing. just the lip on the wing.

Does anyone run 10x6s with no arches at all? I know its not really allowed buy im just wondering if its done? Im sure ive seen a few about at shows etc.

The reason why I ask is im wondering if you can cut the arches to stop the wheels rubbing and re fit the chrome finishing trim to the wings giving a neat look?

I really dont want this to start the whole "its illegal" arguement I would just like feedback.

Thanks guys.

you would have to be running drums all round and they would still stick out about a inch

Its drums all round and at a guess about an inch is how much there sticking out . I would just need to cut the arches and was wondering if I can get a neat finish without fitting arches.
