Nowt to report aside from the fact that I've indeed decided to go with a rear harness bar and 4 point harnesses! Who needs back seats :)

I'm going for these harnesses,

& just for reassurance..

Figured Gray will suit best.. I've got a few shell colours in mind and it'll go well with all of those. Plus I've got a full Black interior so I didn't really want another Black item in there.. and the Red and Blue are a bit too garish and loud for my intentions.

I've sold a fair few surplus items that I don't need but there are still plenty left. Check out my threads in the for sale section :( & I've got a running 850cc engine, complete with subframe, suspension, brakes etc.. PM me if you are interested.

Grey will be a nice contrast to the black, I'd like Red , cus I like 'Garish' LOL

Agreed, bit of post processing (not too much at all) and it would be a mint photo!

Great project too!

Aye it's a toss up between the Grey, Island Blue or Antelope Beige! Or a similar custom colour that's a bit of a mix.

It'll be a MK1/2/3.. haha ^_^

I think because this is the third thread you lot haven't seen a lot of the bits I've bought over the past year or two! But give it a few months and you'll see them all on the shell

Ah that colour is called Yukon Grey, wasn't aware of that! Might go a bit lighter with it though.

i too must confess a love for gray. mine will be (hopefully) tweed grey with a black roof, but the parents arnt overly keen on me driving around in a car that is essentially road colour..... (that and now ive decided i want it, every other person in the world has started painting their mini tweed grey)

Yeah man, although I think I'd go all one colour rather than having a different coloured roof.. although black or OEW does sound nice.

Anyway, I'm home for the weekend but won't get any spare time for the garage. Up at 5AM tomorrow to do a weekend of work for the place I worked for over summer :alien:

The bonnet has been replaced, of course the shell is up on it's side so it was a bit tricky to see if it fits, but it's okay.. it needs some fettling but I'm happy with it. It's in a lot better condition than the other one.
