Secondly, slightly random, does anyone know the paint colour code/name for the original colour in the build? i.e page one, before any of the wizardry started happening in the subsequent pages.....
Much appreciated!

Ta mate!
It was originally sandglow yellow, but I'm unsure of the paint code.

Tundra Green is a nice colour. If you pay me I'll change the colour & add some drip rails
Haha my overdraft suffered very badly & there is no more missus! Just managed to spare a few weekends every now and again. I was only an hour drive or a two hour train from home so popping home wasn't that difficult.
Thank you mate!
Been busy with work & waiting for my first months salary so I've been quiet lately, few purchases bits above though! I've also just put in a few orders for various parts from Moss & eBay so you'll see and update this weekend!

Had a fair few packages turn up so that gave me a good amount to get on with!
All loosely sat on there for now until the pedal box is in.
I stripped out the guts of my ignition because I wanted to see what needs to be done to transfer it across to the centre ignition, this meant I had to buy another one to give me a quick fix to be able to turn the ignition on to get power etc..
In and working!
New stud.
Carb secured.
N/S line in.
Nuts on the bolts & tidied up.
Choke cable in and shortened, probably shorten it again at a later date.

I wouldnt shorten the choke cable... I always find they sometimes frey and you have to cut em down a bit in the future anyway, so you dont want it too short!!
Keep it up!

Looking Awesome!!
Thank you mate!
That look's exellent, you've done a great job Have you got any picture's of where the wire run's on the floor and where it enter's the front?
Alex
The fuel, battery & brake lines? They're all loosely sat in there for now until I get it all plumbed in and decide on a definite route.
Top stuff! Interior is looking well.

Thank you Ed! I'll keep it that length for now then, I had already cut about 1m off! That was certainly too long!

hahaha! thats mentaly long!! im guessing it wasnt a mini specific one then!!!
Nah! I just liked it for the period looking emblem.
I didn't get much done today.. I got home late last night & had a cracking headache for most of the day.
Picked up a socket from town, for some odd reason we didn't have one in the garage.. & it didn't come from Halfrauds, hurrah! Instead it was from a local autospares shop called Autostop, so if you're around the Melton area, go there instead! (It's near the train station)
Greased and torqued.
Torqued.
Dark photo.
I've got a bit of rust creeping in under the scuttle so I've had to clear out the top half of the engine bay.. I'll be buying some rust converter / encapsulator and sorting this out.. once done I've got some paint from the lad who painted it and it'll be fully waxoyl'd.
Not a job I want to be doing.. but I'm actually quite looking forward to doing it and making sure it's rust free & properly protected.

Doing it that way bends the studs
