And a list of the work carried out -

Paint inside and outside of shell beige including boot and engine areas.

Paint roof white.

Replace 2x 'A' panels (due to doors catching)

Replacing 1x door skin (due to excessive distortion)

All filler work.

Sealer work to shell.

Paint all none shell panels supplied including harness rail, wheel arches and hinges.

Complete shell put in high build primer and 'prepped'.

Stoneguarding of sills, front & rear valances + finished in paint.

Waxoyled certain cavities.

Thanks a lot you lot! :)

& TA2D, I'll list it all tomorrow for you. It's nothing fancy though!

Posted Image

So, I gave it all a wash down as it was subjected to a lot of dirty rain water on the way over. She's all nice and clean now, I've also ordered one of these to keep the shell covered up and protected.

Posted Image

Removing the standard cam.

Posted Image

Metro cam at the back.

Posted Image

All reassembled with the timing in check.

Posted Image

Block mated with the gearbox and the head placed on top.

Will be out there bright and early tomorrow :mrcool:

Lovely colour. One of my favourite, I was involved in building a mini about 4 years ago in the same colour, it won Miniworld car of L2B and was a cover car on Miniworld. Just so subtle and smart looking :) Not sure it would suit lots of carbon though :(

Good luck, and keep up the good work!

Again, thanks for all the kind comments!

And any questions relating to when will it be finished, as soon as possible! a few months.. hopefully!

More today..

Posted Image

Getting bits on and out of the cupboards to free up some space. Everything is cleaned beforehand to ensure it's in tip top condition!

Posted Image

Switch panel :mrcool: The welding and fillering has come out fantastic, you'd never know!

Posted Image

Getting the engine back together.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Together! just about.

Posted Image

Front end up and on axle stands.

Posted Image

And the rear, I'd imagine this is how she'll stay until finished.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image

Rear harness bar in and secured. Looks so good!

Posted Image

Details of the shell I'd forgotten I'd done.. so chuffed.

Posted Image

Starting to give her a face.

Posted Image

Arch liners pushed in, I will cut these down and secure them tomorrow.
