sorry for the amount of photos again, i do get a bit carried away
ive almost finished the front end now, im just waiting on a floor pan to come from minispeed and i can finish off the drivers side, then all i need to do is the last of the bulkhead to close it off and put the scuttle back on.
im getting my exhaust tunnel made up ready for wednesday for £10!!!! gotta love the old machine shops! so that should be finished by the end of the week.
ill get the car back on the spit and finished off a few patches and make the fuel tank recess.
my new pedal box should be here by next week so i can get that fitted in place then i just have to wait for the seats and its body work time!!!
so heres a few pictures of whats gone on the past few days.
turbo box was finished off
onto the rest of the inner wing
new plates on the crossmember
and some ugly repairs on the roof
and finally i spent the weekend tidying the shed with thanks to this lot
comments welcome

went and picked up my exhaust tunnel which looked amazing considering it cost me £10 sadly i didnt take any photos of it before i had it in the car
here it is layed in the frame once i had cut it to shape around the roll cage
one its been welded in
then i started to make up some templates for the ends of the tunnel
and heres a cheeky photo of my next piece of the project!
any guesses?

i have already said it, but im gonna say it again, That exhaust is awesome! but i was reading about the IVA car tests and whatever they're called, and it said you have to have have one if you modify the exhaust tunnel, and you have modified it quite alot, i would read up on this mate:)
hey cheers for the heads up, i spoke to my MOT man and he said that so long as he feels it is as strong as the original, which it deffinitly is, if not more so. so he said it should be fine. but to be totally honest, the about of modifications ive done to the shell it should really have an IVA anyway (boot, exhaust, bulkhead etc) but ill see if i can get an MOT on the old girl and if not then i will go down the IVA route.
