Have you got any close up pictures of how your pedal box is mounted Ben? I've got the same one as you but I haven't settled on how to get held in yet.

The past week I had a bit of time to mess with some more fabrication.
I've now sorted the internal gear linkage, steering column and mount is well underway and I've figured out the positioning for all of my switches and dials.
Few photos for everyone...
Here's showing the position of some of the more important switches
And then some more lists and diagrams etc
The majority of other switches are to be mounted on the upper bar of the rollcage (roof bar) which are within easy reaching distance.
I'm hoping to keep the dash very simple but yet still with a nice race style.
Enjoy!

Spent my last few days at home tidying up the workshop and making sure the mini was nice and secure, clean and rust free. I'm hoping I've done enough to stop it deteriorating while I'm away but we shall see how it all works out.
So here's one last photo for you guys until I arrive home next year.
see you all soon.

Once I'd written out a rough to do list, I decided I'd mess with a small project while I was there.
Shortly later and my steering column was finished. Next job is a new dash bar and finish the column mount. Then I'll be looking at paint and fitting some panels.

And sorted fuel tank mounting a planning lines and pumps etc
This weekend should see the doors lightened some more and a final assembly of the rear end.
If anybody has any old wrecked doors and they would like to chop out some of the top frame can you let me know, would like some small sections to get the frame fitting perfectly.

I've now got the rear end apart and it's being cleaned and painted, but I decided to take some more weight off the radius arms as I was there. Although I've now found that one of the bronze bushes has been reamed wrong so will have to get that fixed first!!
Will be prepped and painted in 6 weeks as I have a friend lending me a hand and a huge compressor, she will be in one colour soon enough!!!!

I'm just going to throw up a load of random photos rather than explain everything because I'll be here all day otherwise.
