i did however manage to get the drivers side rear arch area cleaned and primed.
its amazing how much bigger the interior feels without the rear bulkhead in place! i wish i could leave it out but the shell flex's far too much for my liking
also started prepping and priming the roll cage so that i dont have to do it when its welded in
enjoy

bit more done today due to an early day at college, mostly cleanign and painting etc but i want to get the interior done and painted so i done have to worry about it!
almost all of the rear in primer and seam sealed, just the final rear section to do, but that will wait until ive lined the boot up and welded up the bumper seam
ive also started drilling holes into the quarter stiffener
picture was taken half way through just before the battery on the drill died, so ill finish that tomorrow
comments welcome

commited to the cause!
not massive amounts done, but i managed to get the o/s stiffener drilled and also started to mark out the headlining framework for cutting as it wont be needed
hopefully the weather will be much nicer tomorrow so i will be able to get some more of the interior into primer

few photos of progress, im hoping to have the rear bulkhead back in today and then i can chop about the parcel shelf
decided to paint the arches as they will be pretty awkward to get at with the bulkhead in place

small update today, ive been working on getting the rear end finished including the bulkhead and parcel shelf etc
the bulkhead is almost ready to go in but im going to weld a few of the holes and give it another coat of paint on the back before i put it back in.
ive made a start on a rear strut brace aswell which just needs some brackets made up and it is finished. not the best of photos but ill get some more once the brackets are made up and its bolted in position
may get some more done today depending on the weather and if i can get hold of some thick steel for the brace brackets

started the day off by finishing the rear strut brace which has come out very well
few photos of the bracketry and brace itself
stiffens the rear end up massivley so well worth the few hours work!
now onto the exciting stuff!
i received my wheel nuts yesterday so ive got the front subframe all built up with wheels etc, i just need the large washer so i can tighten up the hub nuts correctly
found that my calipers clear the inside of the wheel by around 0.5mm so nice and snug
just need to send the wheels to carl over at force racing to be split!
so, with the front subframe built and the front end of the car basically finished, i thought why not!
an hour later i ended up with this!
enjoy

thanks jagman
there isnt too much bodywork left now so im going to concentrate on getting it rolling and doing a dry build first, then once it is back round the front of the house i will finish the remaining bodywork build the car up then paint
