Looking good Ben, I much prefer the finish of Shultz over stone chip.

i agree! it actually lookslike its got some protection now. which the smooth stonechip doesnt.

hopefully not long now until its on wheels (which i still need to get split)

nothing too special today unfortunatly.

ive got my rosejoints through to start making my brace bars once the subframes in and i have some tube.

the clever among you may have noticed that i have two R/H thread rose joints and two L/H thread rose joints. this is to allow me to adjust them slightly to get the right tension i want.
ive also fitted with some missalignment spacers so that i can put a bend in the tube to allow for a standard radiator.

no worries graham, im only using them because i need brace bars for my removable front.

this photo shows how mine will be (azzgranty's idea)
http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream

having the rosejoints just looks betterand means i can have the tubes offset at an angle to the bulkhead and be removable.

ther adjustment will mainly be to overcome my bad measuring skills but it means that i can put somefore into the bars when they are fitted. similiar to how modern cars strut braces really. it will just be a more efficient way than the usually box section braces bars

Gotcha, looks nice in the pic. Thought you were bracing across the subframes to twist back or something !!

If you have some that would be brilliant, I'm still trying to finalise the design so any photos you have would be good!

Cheers

Just had a look through, unfortunately I don't and I don't have them to hand. Mine don't have a kink in so they were pretty easy to design though

no worries, i think im just going to have to get the rad in and then design around it.

im still waiting on my CDS for the rear subframe so im going to get the radius arms and rear brakes sorted this weekend and fitted onto the section i have now, then i can sort the rear subframe out and hopefulyl be rolling in a few weeks.
