Fitting Rally Mud Flaps

hi all just got my mud flap material ready for my mini and was wondering what is the best way to fit them and what should i use to attach them to the mini.i originally planned to use some strips of chequer plate to mount to the plastic arches and also to the inner wheel arches,but just wondering if anybody has any info on doing this.any info would be great,thanks in advance

mines got 3 self tapping screws on each mudflap... but i think my mud flaps have some metel plates in them where the holes are...

the rear ones on mine, i used rivets through the mud flap into the plastic wheel arch. and then on the inside just got some small mudflap u clamp thingys, and clamped around the mudflap and the rear valance. i put a notch into the mudflap to be a bit more secure.

you can use angled mud flap brackets, what we do at work is rivit the angled brackets to the car and then cable tie the mudflap material to the other side of the bracket.

are you planning on making the mudflaps to specification?
