I've not been here for a long time. Still driving around in my wee green Mini. It is a reliable if somewhat uncomfortable little car but I love it. 3 MOTs under my belt now.
I thought some people might find this interesting.
My granny, my uncle Hector and two friends traveled in a Mini Seven to Israel in 1961. Remember this one had only 10" wheels! These four people were not small. I was six then. I remember granny's slides as a boy. She had boxes of them where we had awful afternoons passing round a cream coloured viewer. She is long gone now but sometimes I would love to be back there looking through that cream coloured viewer and hearing her story.
