Thank you jagman.2003 a compliment from you is highly valued when I know the standard of your work.
I did more filling minor marks and sanding back but in some places I was making things worse - so I said to myself 'Hugh you are not going to get it any better than this. Other's on this Forum are perfectionists and you are not in that league. Get the green paint on'.
So its green




It has a few dings still in it, the paint is dull in some places, orange peel in others and there are some runs. Am I bothered - no! It has turned out better than I expected before I started - I thought it might end up not even looking like a Mini !!!! There is no rust showing, there are no holes in it and it still looks like a Mini. This is an advanced MOT prep and not a concourse build.
So I'm looking forward to repairing things and fitting things.
