I have worked on these but was thinking of the older aircooled one where it dosent have the lift up cover in the boot floor.

maybe you could use fiat/seat 600 D door hinges (i think its the 600D) which has suicide doors, and as the 126 is esentially a 500, the 600 is closely related so might work...
if not, they look cool anyway.
this makes me want a 126 now..., well a 126 pickup lol.... though i would like a bike engine in their somewhere...

A bike engine conversion would be alot of fun! But not really reliable or practical enough to be honest, so im planning a Jap engine in the back, more details to come when i get the engine
Yeahh its going to be slammed Id like 10's but when i uprate the brakes they may not fit, so im going for 13's
I was planning on keeping the arches black but now you have said smooth them im tempted to photoshop it to see if it will look as cool as it does in my head haha
