Driveshaft Length

What side does the longer driveshaft go on and vice versa with the shorter length shaft

Good question, it's like an observation test!

My money is on shortest on the clutch side

Left as in radiator side 'n I think he's right correct. Knew this 'd get confusing!

Please expand! I've been in the automotive industry for nearly 25 years, from vehicle design through to retail parts sales, and it's always been the convention as far as I know!

Simply put, if people are sitting in the car looking forwards, the longer driveshaft is on their right side. Thats how i put mine on and the engine fitted!

As a former rally mechanic O/s and N/s are stupid and confusing just use correct terminology and say drivers side or passenger side simples 🤦‍♂️
