I saw the first picture and I immediately knew I recognized that mini, I did erasmus last year in Portugal and sat with you or your brother, can't really get it out of the story, in school xD

Nice to see the project here!

Very nice! The engine looks interesting, I first thought that it was a Mpi version due to the screwed on oil filter, but still has an old ignition system, carb, but then again no mechanical fuel pump??

After a long time, the Mini restoration got back on a good rythm!

Well, I still don't know either if the oil filter position is a South African caractheristic, or if my dad used an engine block from other car (such as a Marina, for instance). I'll have to ask him!
 
Yes, it has an eletric fuel pump, but it was fitted by him, once again. I think so!

New good and bad updates!

So, i have built the piece which holds the seats:

I striped the van so no more old paint and rust!
