tomorrow, head on and rocker gear
saturday - gearbox on and check idle gear endfloat
sunday - clutch on and fit ancillaries, fit megajolt loom

didnt get a chance at the weekend to do anything unfortunately, the garden needded weeding and lawn cut as well as shopping DIY etc etc >_<

did make some good progress tonight though

lifters in, pushrods in, head fully torqued down, rocker gear torqued down, and tappets correctly adjusted

Happy days, the exhaust valves dont hit the block so my careful measuring and remeasuring of the clearance paid off

i put a spark plug in 1 bore and it seems to be building up plenty of pressure when cranked, happy days

Put them on all 8 phil, wont do it no harm. Also does your cylinder head have the water bypass stump, as your water pump appears to have and in the photo after you had torqued down the head you hadnt fitted the bypass hose. If I were you i'd fit one of the straight hoses when you re-fit your head as apposed to the congregated ones, they are much less hassle if you haven't already.
