Hi all I have finally decided on a colour to paint my car which is aqua also I was think a carbon roof and Huddersfield spares group 6 arches to replace the cheap crappy rubber sportspack I have on now, however I could do with some pics and opinions of aqua minis, also if anyone has the paint code for aqua it would be nice to check that I have the right one. I also cannot decide to do engine wise, 16v or 1330 a series.

My favourite color, in fact I like it so much I've just finished painting mine in cellulose Aqua, I'll have a look tonight at the paint code.

I have a few photos at home of the car but my camera doesn't do the color justice. It looks superb in daylight and not bad under fluorescents but doesn't photograph well (well, I can't get it right). My car has a black roof, carbon will look the dogs you know whats.

Attached photo isn't of my car but the color is pretty close. I think it's someone's car on here but can't remember as I started collecting photos of Aqua and Surf blue cars a while ago.

Thanks Guys i found some photos i took at MITP santa pod this year, the colour is really mint both cars in the photos are real nice cars thanks alot. By the way the roof skin will be brought from you. i asked you about the carbon group 2 arches but you said it would be faily expernsive.

I bought my paint as BL Aqua VC60. It also has a RAL code 5021.

Now that's interesting, what code do you have? I'd hate for you to order paint with my code only to find it's not what you're after.
My color is the same as the mini in the picture I posted and the VTEC clubman. The 1000cc posted by benpopham looks a little green, though it's almost certainly Aqua as well.

I have the code jmavc60 however looking at it, it is pretty much the same code with jma instead of bl at the beginning :/ Yours is defiantly the colour I'm looking for the sale as the vtec clubman in the photo

My first car was an early 70s car in Aqua- still love the colour to this day.

Check out 'Carry On Loving' for a lovely shot of an 850 in this colour!!! Iin the meantime, a scan of the original Mk3 sales brochure-



Note the jazzy full-size trims on the Aqua car which denote it as a 1000, rather than 850. Also, the appaling door to A panel gap lol.
