From what I can tell the FRP and the ABS shells are one and the same. Not sure who ownes the original moulds.

Both shells are derrived from the Sabre Sprint moulding. My Sprint has a rollover hoop built into the B pillar for the seatbelt mounting. I would presume that these derivatives are the same.

Sorry not meaning to cause a ruckus. Just observing that all the shells mentioned are visibly the same as the Sabre Sprint. I've always been intrigued who owned what and where the Sabre Sprint moulds ended up.

The FRP link I put up is the guy who originally made the Sabre Sprint, whether he still sells his 'minitec' or not I don't know, but plainly it is also based on the Sabre Sprint mould/design. I personally have noting to do with any of the shells, I just happen to own a Sabre sprint and have done research on it's origins, hence stumbling across the FRP site.

p.s. www.tdkracing.com doesn't exist?

Well that all ties up then. The Sabre Sprint was modified to the Minitec, which was subsequently sold to you.

My hillclimber contains lots of your GRP bits Dave, doors, boot etc. always been happy with you stuff. If the sprint ever self destructs I now know where to come for a better looking shell.

Dave are you still selling complete shells and do they have steel incorporated for strength/seat belt mounting? If so, whats the going rate?

Cheers

Sorry for the thread resurrection on this, i was just wondering if anyone has actually built a GRP mini shell for the road yet?

I think Bungie is referring to my post on how to pass the IVA test in a mini, it does look like it would have to do IVA the grp shelled car.

It should be possible however the steering column might prove difficult if they still require UJ's.

The zcars build nearly killed me so i no longer have that, so im itching for another project.
