..a bit of evostik and i'm sure you'd have got a bit more life out of that (..maybe put it in your spares box for 'just in case' 
)
hopefully the new one lasts just as long

I know .... coil and clutch only lasted 48 years too ... I feel short changed !

Yes loads ... took out battery and put on charge
Kicked front tyre as split rim needs another rebuild
