It was lovely to see this car I'm person today. I remember reading this thread a few months ago and never realised you were local. Absolutely spotless. I would have said hello but I have no idea who you are!
Thank you , was a great debut
Am a friendly chap , always happy to chat about cars and meet new people

All three Minis looking good ?
#whatsinmyboot?! ? Is it a flask?
Rossul.burn - Longtimenomini will talk to anyone about cars!!! We were beside our Minis most of the day so you should have said hello. I was talking to people about my Snowberry White City, telling people the story about this estate, good banter.
Glad we managed to get the Clubby estate ready for the show ??

Well if I see the car again I will get chatting.
I did get a picture of the clubman, albeit a poor shot.
They all contributed to reigniting my motivation to get my sidewalk all sorted

Had to remove dash and binnacle to get to Speedo cable , removed cable ( in process snapping connector) and sprayed wd40 down cable innards
Rebuilt and ... indicators didn’t work !!!
Removed dash and binnacle again .... messed around with wires and got indicators working again
Rebuilt again .... test spin and all good no noise
Had a play around with where I’m gonna mount solenoids for Nos
Think 3rd pic obvious choice ... may paint them white and black ... still deciding

Are you using a clutch master cylinder on the brakes?
Original brake cylinder with remote servo , new clutch cylinder
Started engine detailing ...
Shortening pipes
Moving cables and pipes ( vacuum pipe on order)
New ht leads
My mini sprite kindly donated its ht separators and dipstick
Still lots to do , but looking better already

You're right, that does look like a clutch master cylinder to me.

It is. If it were a brake master the filler would be towards the back and the outlet towards the front - a mirror of the clutch cylinder.

Rear seat behind driver , completely unusable ...although rear seat behind passenger is used by mini-me
So the cogs turned ....
And stopped at this ....
Eagle eye viewers will spot I kept seatbelt in , this way I can use either and if I need to fold rear seat down I can move harness and use seatbelt.... I is clever that way !
