Selective memory engaged....cough up the pictureAhh, the impatience of youth. The driving part will come soon enough. The wheels won't fall off either. I have the photographic evidence of a three wheeled mini..!
put the drivers seat in and drive it around..doors can come later....
Quick mid-week update. With help from my trusty assistant, the rear roll cage is now bolted up tight & drivers rear side window in. On with the next job. Just gotta remember what that is..!

But don't worry it'll be running soon. The electrics are the only hold up & they are starting to come together. Ohh & the oil cooler. But I will concede it doesn't need the doors to run or drive. I've driven with less.

mini looking awesome, well done.
Is the dash a complete home made job from a template, if so how does it fit using a template one?? Also just one ovservation, there doesn't seem to be much material left inbetween the dials and with covering the pieces it may snap the narrow bits. Just a thought as I want to make my own dash too later this year .

Hello Graham, the main part of the dash board is fibreglass, has a top rail & sides complete. Possibly from a mini minus kit. I am putting a full sheet of MDF across the dash with two raised sections on either side. One for glove box, the other for dials. The dial section is a little tight. If it doesn't look right I can quickly make another up as I bought a fairly large sheet. But the space I have is limited by the fibreglass base & the carburettor box. Hopefully it will become more clear when I put it together.Hi,

Thanks, should get somewhere this weekend with the dashboard. I have some carbon fibre wrap to cover it. Not sure how that will look or work. Will try a test piece first. I tried some wrinkle finish paint but wasn't happy with the finish on the MDF. You get the basics from the pic below. That looks good. Cant wait to see the dash finished
