Quick weekend update. Rear roll cage bolted in, just needs my trusty assistant to help give the bolts the last tweak. Also fitted one of the rear side windows.

How very nice for the rollcage mount to fight you with the sill vent !!

Thers's always something to encounter and overcome with a mini.

I know typical, I did the other side slightly differently, but both sides look alright in the end.

Quick mid-week update. With help from my trusty assistant, the rear roll cage is now bolted up tight & drivers rear side window in. On with the next job. Just gotta remember what that is..!

Ahh, the impatience of youth. The driving part will come soon enough. The wheels won't fall off either. I have the photographic evidence of a three wheeled mini..!

Happy New Year...update. I fitted the fresh air intake. As it fouled the coil spring brackets I have to modify things. Cut a chunk out of the duct on the inner wing to change the angle slightly. Also I used some 4" aluminium ducting from a DIY store instead of the plastic as I was then able to form it slightly around the bracket.

Partly fitted the heater. Just need to find some suitable fittings to screw into the dash rail.

Fitted the headlights yeaterday as well.

A good new year to you jagman.2003 your car is beautiful. The engine bay looks just super. I have so enjoyed watching this car move from a pile of rusty scrap to this. Hope 2013 sees it on the road!!! I'm glad I don't have to do the adjustments you are having to do.

Something I forgot to add earlier. Attached the front drivers side wheel arch. Looks good. Will have to fettle the suspension heights once it settled. I put some chrome trim along the edge from front to back. It generally looks good but I heated it up in some hot water & that seems to have caused it to wrinkle in places. Maybe the hot water was too hot? Might try & replace it at a later date.
