Another mid week update. Assembled the painted gear linkage.

Weekend update. Not as far as I would have liked but things rarely go smoothly. I've fitted the front brakes. Minispares alloy calipers with vented discs. I've decided to fit the brake shields. I know I don't strictly need them, but I have a good pair so might as well use them. But they needed a small amount of trimming to fit the alloy calipers which took a little trial & error. But finally got brakes all fitted up. Drivers coil over bracket fouls the fresh air vent. Will have to get inventive on how to get round that. Also noticed one steering arm is wrong, possibly metro has sneaked in some where. Will have to rustle up another. Also while waiting fro fresh paint on shields to dry I fitted the gear linkage. Looks quite slinky I thought..! Should get it back on all four wheels during the week.

I think I have to get my skates on and work faster on Evy now I have seen all these shiny bits,...... I am going for Teal Blue as finish probably, that is her origional colour too.

I like Teal Blue, I used to have a mini in that colour. Polishes up very nice.

Excellent idea, the hedge has swallowed up the hole again, but I could get near the area.

I've been doing some tidying up lately. Took the mini for it's first roll around today. Gave it a quick wash & brush up & put a new cover on it as it's getting pretty grubby in the workshop. Hoping to clear some junk out tomorrow now the mini can be moved out of harms way.
