The master cylinders are just the standard steel ones from minispares. I think they have a zinc coating. It's not perfect like chrome but a quick polish makes them look ok for the photo's.Awesome, where did you get the chrome tanks from?

Rebuilt the heater this week. Stripped, cleaned, quick coat of paint, new matrix & rebuild. Hopefully it will be alot more effective than all the old mini heaters I have used in the past.

Ive a Mk3 '72 saloon, was once a pearl blue zeemax kitted boy racer machine - seen the light, and am trying to get it back to how it would have looked back in the day.

Thanks, good luck with the subframe, I'm hoping to put mine back in the next week or so, hopefully nice & shiny..!Just read from start to finish, absolutely awesome work buddy!!!!! I'm just in the middle of doing my mk3.... Just about to drop the rear subframe and refurb it
