Yes deffinatly, I'm using cellulose on my mayfair, nice paint to use and easy to gain a nice shine and maintain, and most of all safe! just at the priming stages of mine now :thumbsup:

Thanks, I've used a polisher this time. Got one cheap from machine mart so thought I'd give it ago. Higher risk but much quicker than me doing by hand.

Some more work done this week. Fitted the pedal box & the master cylinders. New cylinders look nice & shiny on the new stainless steel plate. The heater is being refurbished. Just needs some black paint & putting back together.

I'll check on the model & report back.

This is the one I used, It's quite big & heavy but plenty powerful enough. I used a couple of sponge pads that screw on.

This finish is only temporary. The first time the engine spits out some oil it'll look normal again..!
