DA'd my rear bumper its nearly finished now.
Its all slowly coming together.
i was told today, that with the black tag masters the ports are the different way round compared to the yellow tag, therefore the rears are at the top, and the fronts at the bottom? can anyone clarify this?

Maybe that's why my rears lock first? I don't know what my master cylinder is though.

Today i worked my arse off. i heat wrapped my exhaust, fitted my electric fan to my radiator, fitted my fuel pump to the rear subframe and all the hoes P clipped through the car up to the engine. and i made the exhaust my welding my maniflow box to a metro exhaust ( cut down a little ). plugged in all the wiring so now i just need to check a few things with the circuit diagram, chug in some fuel, hook up my freshly charged battery and turn the key!
i even replaced the battery in the key fob just to make sure it doesn't cause me any trouble.

Conversion looks good mate, got any detailed pics of the subframe, and how you solved all the problems people complain about with K series in mini subframes? Oil filter, driveshafts etc?
Cheers, Paul.

Just came across this Liam, didn't realise you had build diary on it!
Is it gonna be ready for Germini?
Fingers crossed.
tried the ecu, 5as and key fobs off the retro metro earlier, did the exact same thing, which means its a problem with the new loom.
Got another friend coming over tomorrow to assess the situation with another pair of eyes, before i loose my temper with it and leave it for 6 months like i did last time ).
finishing it before Germany shouldn't be too bad, its insuring it that's going to be the killer.
