New bushes for the rear shocks turned up this week so I went to fit them today, but it turns out the nuts had come undone and the bushes were fine.

Took it out for a blast with jackjewelljj to test out my gopro and it went well.
I will upload a vid or two when I get 5 min

Came back and washed it before packing it away but when I was wiping it down with the chamois I managed to snap the A panel seam on the fibreglass front doh!

Scrap the turbo idea, hopefully collecting a 160vvc Friday.

Also in the middle of repainting the roof as jackjewelljj ran a electric sander through it.

The vvc 160 has been compression tested and stripped for new belts, pump and thermostat etc.

Can anyone tell me what the minislares discount is with the tmf+? I need to make a order but don't know if it's worth renewing my subscription.

JackjewellJJ repainted my roof

Will need a slight flattening and polish when its dried for a week or so.

Well happy with the result.

 

New motor was collected Friday, its  2000 and something 1.8 VVC 160, 90k miles, has the later MEMS 3 also.

 

 

Intention is to run it on my R65 gearbox initially and see how it copes, if that breaks i have a spare R65, and if that breaks i will have to convert to the PG1 it came with, mess around with the final drive, remake half my subframe and new drive shafts...
