No pic's i'm afraid, but you ended up parking up behind our club in the afternoon (we ended up with a stand 3 times the size that we needed sadly). It did look good in the flesh, but sadly missed you out on the track

I didn't get there till gone 12, right about when the lame parade is so it was manic, was glad to see a empty bit of tarmac. You should of said hi.

Had a flat tyre and no where wanted to touch the split rims which is a pain. Ended up using the tyre machine to break the bead then removing the all the bolts and the outer dish.
Also found this pic of combe, with Ross looking bored...

Just stick a vvc or turbo lump in?
Vvc everyone does this conversion, I struggle to find any low mileage vvc engine locally.
The two known turbo k minis seem to involve a lot of work to still destroy clutches, turbos and bottom ends, I cannot be bothered with that. Plus the turbo hanging out the front looks hash.
The above two options also don't have the awesome throttle body noise.

Dan on 16v runs that setup and is getting 200 brake but on a 1.8

I don't really want to remake my frame and shafts though for a pg1. I'm thinking it is cheaper and easier to just fit a vvc.

Your gearbox will still be your weak point with a 160 vvc but get an r65u it will fair better

Also the rear shock bushes are knackered creating a knocking noise, need to replace them.
I've just bought a new toy that's a v6 with 265hp and 620nm,so mini has had zero attention recently.
