Other than that issue it seems pretty good. What are the legalitys of resetting my mileage back to zero?

Acewell digi dash arrived, pretty disappointed as for the price of it there wasn't even a simple mounting bracket supplied.

None as mileage is not important in classic cars and becomes even less when you change the engine

made a dash, fitted an acewell, chipped the roof paint and covered 400 miles without any technical issue since MOT.

Now on 1100 miles since MOT with no technical issues. did cruise upto a chav car fest with another K mini a few weeks back.
just need to increase the castor and camber up before castle combe as it tends to want to wonder around the road under full throttle acceleration.

Looks great, I think a set of the clubman indicators would suit the front better so it's all flat. Where did you get your door mirrors from if you don't mind me asking?

I couldn't bring my self to pay for the clubman indicators , but you are correct they would suit it better.
Mirrors were from eBay, 30 quid for the pair I think.

I wouldn't be increasing the camber on your car (just make sure they're equal), what caster are you running now? Have you had the toe and camber set up on the rear as well?
Mine used to dart about all over the place on full throttle pulls at about 6K, but it's much better since having the toe set up on the front and the camber set to 1 degree all round.

When I rebuilt the car I thought I was gonna drive less like a hooligan and set it at 5.5 deg castor and 1 neg camber I think.
I also set the front and rear track but the ride heights have sunk slightly since.
It is definately not as stable as it used to be.
With the both rear wheels off the ground should I be able to clunk the wheels up and down or are my gaz shocks wanked ?

Less camber should make it a little more stable (did for mine, anyway), and 5.5 degrees castor should still be enough.
Rear shocks sound ******* though, and that'll definitely make it more wanderey under hard acceleration.

Seems odd they have both failed at the same time ?
