Although I'm not sure about the law on this, my other halfs high level brake light read FR TDI when she braked, she had it on there for 3.5 years, got stopped by the police for speeding a couple of times, and they never said anything.

But as I say, that doesn't mean it's legal!

£3 for two strips of LED's off eBay, I just wish I'd spent a bit more as upon installation a couple broke, the LED's and circuitry are incased in a a flexible plastic like silocene and my mounting design isn't as good as I thought it was and I had to 'manhandle' the LED's more than they were designed to be

I was doing a quick check over, lights, fluid levels etc and noticed that my high level brake light is working perfectly!

I knew that the 3 weren't working because I bent them too far and either the heat cycles or driving vibration has brought the 2 pieces back together, it will probably go faulty again but thats the fun of buying crap off eBay

i like it! think you could do with covering all the back wires and connections in some sort of resin to avoid any mis-haps
