I wanted to go 10's for the look bit haven spoken with some of the vauxhall conversion boys they say dont
so went for mad 8x13's then also spaced them at the rear so we could have the look we wanted
and with power steering theres no probs with heavy steering as low speed parking i can adjust the power and make really light all good

out of the whole project we agreed that the power steering was the easiest and one of the most effective mods we done
main problem was designing and making the correct mounting for the column once that was done it was literally plug and play and it gave the column angle that i could only dream off before even lower than a lowered column bracket that i remember fitting to it 15 years ago that was "The mod" back then haha

I can imagine! Must make the car a lot 'nicer' to drive!

Like I said if its a simple job hopefully someone will come up with an off the shelf one (that aint a grand!)

"16.05.2009 - Mini madness
Went to the races today. Travelling down the A11 on our way to Newmarket we saw car headlights facing us in our lane! All was not quite as it seemed however, and I took this shot through the window as we overtook this rather unique mini at 70mph, just outside Wymondham. It pays to have a camera with you at all times!!!!

Part of the challenge to take a photo a day in 2009."

powersteering? ppfff
if your really having trouble turning the big 7 x 13's while parking dont dry steer!
just give it abit of throttle and while your slowly moving turn the wheel
so much easier

i like the fact minis dont have power steering, more fun :D

but on topic, i saw that blue vauxhall mini at l2b and gotta say its a beaut
