I'd like to submit this Clubman sprint. Any more info on them?

really cant tell if its a fibreglass or steel shell...only reason i would think steel is that the rollcage seems to be gusseted into the a-pillers and you cant exactly weld steel to composite lol other option would be bonding them on tho

if it steel david it could be the guy who originally did the sprints, if you take your car to him, he makes it a sprint for an outrageous amount of cash. hadnt noticed the cage, hadnt looked that hard to be honest

The sprint is all steel (I'm not sure if the front end is?), we spoke to him at Combe, I've got the leaflet he gave us somewhere. Had a photobook with pictures of it during build too.

Also it isn't the original guy that used to make Sprints, he is based in France and still does the work if you take him a Rust free shell and wad of cash.

Ive seen and built alot of Sprints but never seen a clubman one. Quite like it in an ugly way

I would be very interested to know whether the 13x8's really feel that much heavier than the 13x7's?

I see that in that build thread the guys using 195/45/13. Is that the same as you Robbie?

yes he has the same tyres as me .remember all the grief i was getting about stretch,and the blue one with the honda engine was running 175 on 8 inch wheels at santa pod ,yet i still got grief !
