Ello Im thinking about getting some sportspack arches, but worried they might look stupid with the std 12" "thin" wheels? anyone know if they will look good or not? want to give my mini a bit of a wider look and also have them the same colour.

In Germany we have to have winter tyres for the snow, silly german law to make even more money!!! if i have a accident in my 13`s low profiles in the winter months i will not be insured...
Thats why i got these 12`s...they look look a bit odd with my wide arches...but hey :cheese:

aye, do look a bit silly with 12's =(
i hear you have to cut away at the arches to fit 13's, is this as nasty as it sounds?
Also, do you have to modify anything else to have really fat 7 x 13's?
can ya get 8 x 13's? they would look coooool
Thanks for the replies.

Sportspack arches look cr@p whatever wheels you fit, and even worse if the wheel doesn't fill them.
IMO a wheel should be level with the edge of the top of the arch at least, preferably sticking slightly past it (observing the law of course)

No, Sportspacks don't rubbish whatever wheels you put on.
Yes, you will have to be carefull if using anything other than 13"ers to fill them.

yeh its not so much whether its 13s or 12s, its the width, 6s 7s or 8s. that will make the arches look better with the wheels. if its better handling im sure 10 x 5s are the best. 13 x 8s are too big for my liking. 13 x 7s max.
