That would power the subs fine...but it's only a 2ch, so you'll have the weeny HU amp powering the other speakers :w00t:

yeah you don't really want to consider running the comps off the headunit (or anything for that matter).

Would these 2 amps do?

JBL GTO75.2 to power the comps

JBL GTO75.4 to power the subs (bridged from 4 into 2 channels)

That would cost you £180 for the pair which i think would be money well spent.

The kenwood is good but a little pricey and for the sake of an extra £40 you can have 2 good amps with more than enough power.

Hmmmm, I may have found a way to fit this one...

Is this amp now out of the question with the revised set up?

It would probably fit if i worked it like this...is this in any way a bad position for the 2 subs? I can only draw one on paint :w00t:

Heres a thought lol. I dont have to show both of the subs, So ill just show one and hide the other, can amps be mounted upside down? I could just put the other one on the underside of the board if you know what I mean.

Yup, cant see why not :w00t: do you think the enclosures for the subs would be big enough for them to fit?

If so we may have a final set-up? (finally!)

Head Unit - http://www.caraudiod...d1ba7d0399c37b1

Amp 1 - http://www.caraudiod...86423d99179710d

Amp 2 - http://www.caraudiod...86423d99179710d

Componant Speakers - http://www.caraudiod...25174e40b67bf13

Subs - http://www.caraudiod...25174e40b67bf13

Comes to a Grand total Of.... £584.95

Any Objections/Suggestions? Should this all work?

Also, What wiring kit would I need?

All the best

Or I could go with the original Head Unit you suggested (now I know it comes in red! :w00t:)

http://www.caraudiod...25174e40b67bf13

Whats the difference between this and the one I listed?

Im guessing its pretty significant as theres nearly 100 quid price difference (if they werent reduced)

All the best

You might as well get the cheaper one if you are on a budget :w00t: Means you can spend a little more on things like wiring, as you will need some distribution blocks for the 2 amps

I like the look of that final set up :w00t: You've got a few options for speakers in that price range, but it's all down to personal preference at the end of the day

I'd go with the CAD value 4awg kit
