A mini cab that supposedly drives for a living decided to pull out on me from a side road when i was travelling down a main road right into the passenger side and my girlfriend.
THEN THE NICE BLOKE DECIDED TO DRIVE OFF WITHOUT STOPPING!!! Lucky my car tor the front off his off including the number plate. An hour later he was in handcuffs for leaving the scene of an accident and driving without due care, Which is a small concelation. Now its loads of paperwork and waiting to fight for repairs or the right price as it was a vtec converstion with insurance companys :)

The sad thing is the car was sold and ready to be put on a ship to america, but this doesnt make it any les heart wrenching.

Me and the missus are ok accept i have a sore thumb. The front wheels are pointing in opposite directions

The problem most taxi drivers face is that driving a car is not something most of them are actually any good at which i can imagine must be a bit of a problem for them as it is the way they earn a living!! :)
It is definately a problem for for the poor people (us)who have to share the roads with these idiots!

i can see this was worth alot!- both in money and emotions!

if someone damaged mine in the slightest i would be annoyed!-people dont realise that to some people thier cars are their lives, pride and joy!

im also glad to hear noone was hurt!-hope you get him to pay for everything!

Have had several drivers drive straight onto roundabouts in front of me without any braking or even turning their heads to look or give way in past couple of months............all near misses so far :)
Be careful out their.

lucky the impact was at normal driving speed (between 20-30 mph) as looking at some fatal pics in old threads i think i got off very lucky.

I had 3 do that to me alone on the sort drive out today to see if my alternator was charging the battery.

That’s as well as the ones that just didn’t bother indicating, the white van that over took me while doing 60, to cut in front and then find the one now in front him slamming on his brakes to turn into a side road. With me behind slamming the brakes on to ovoid the van only for the beamer with his light on full beam during the middle of the day very nearly run into the back of me.

I’m always unsure of taxies though, you never know if they have all the correct paperwork for starters, wouldn’t be surprised if most of them hadn't got uk driving licences.
