and buy another boot if you are doing both.

Slide on fairly easily, (good bit of pushing needed, the hardest part is getting the cone off later, on cars where the driveshaft isn't fastened into the gearbox, it's easy to pull the driveshaft out if you're not careful) and I've had no problems with ones I've fitted 18 months ago.
