Thicky question alert for which I apologise.
Are all mini bosses the same size? Or do you need to get the right boss for the right steering wheel?
Cheers peeps

you need the right boss for the right wheel, mountney wheels usually have a much larger pcd than momo fitment wheels. also mpi minis have a different steering column so a different pair of bosses again.

try em first if you have them already. if the boss fits the column and the wheel fits the boss its a winner.

There are 2 main sizes of boss, a Classic and a Sports. The difference is the distance the holes are apart in the centre.
If you measure across the centre hole in the wheel from fixing hole to fixing hole the Classic boss is 100mm and the sports boss is 70cm.
Momo, Mountney M range and most other Sports type wheels use the Sports boss. The Mountney Classic wheels and many other classic looking wheels have a larger centre and use the Classic boss.
Some manufacturers use 9 holes to fix the wheels and as always there are a few exceptions.
