Great Danny - I am dreading my drivers side door - it was wrong before I even started - a brave repair here. Your roof looks smashing!!

many thanks for the comments i finished the door skin today just need line it up on car and tack into place and ya am really happy with how the roof came out. The door on the drivers side still wasn't what i wanted still not lining up for my liking and noticed the door post was still a little forward at the bottom so got a block of wood and a hammer and gave it a few taps and now door sits like this







And also anyone know what the extra hole here is for

Not really done much have been sorting my daily out for bingley all ive done is feta every think off the engine to find ive lost the my him nut socket so can't get engine out of subby and also primered the inner wings bulk head scuttle and a rear qauter as my boss mixed to much primer so nicked it off him Haha and no pics Unfortantly as my phone died and getting most of the bits to finsh the estate off :)

Got some bits today red braided hose lines,wheels bearings all round,door Shims,cv boots,steering rack gaitor,grease nipples,slam panel runner stops,knuckle joints,ball joints, rear inner arches,rear subframe poly bushs and pins

Looking good Danny, it's nice when the body gets one colour on it an stops looking like a patch work quilt even if it is just primer. What happened to your rad shroud?

ya i rememeber the say i got it and wondered what she would look like primered and now i know shes came a long distance and what you mean my rad shroud??

This, it's spot welded to the inner wing and helps duct the hot air from the rad into the wheel arch.

ohhhh that mine was missing it when i brought it would it be worth putting another back on ??

I don't know to be honest, I've always like the idea of them because it stop the hot is being pushed from your rad staying in the engine bay but they did get rid of them on latter Minis.

hmmm im unsure now lol i might leave it off it hasnt been on the mini for at least 5 years so should be ok right ???

ill proeberly just leave it off the only thing that worries me it a 1293 engine and wont it run hotter ????
