Dan,

nice cutting away !! Noticed your bodywork question but didn't understand it till I looked here. Looks like you have sorted it though with some nice cutting. Yea, defo get rid of that horrible bit in the boot. Make sure you have a long enough length to the srch inner you are fitting or you will have nothing to close the boot floor to or the other side. I had to weld extenstions on after putting the arch inner in, not good, so if you need to do it, do it first first.

well today i didnt really get much done was busy going to and from doctors all day but little progress not really happy tho with what i found today i know need the rear subframe mounting panel that wraps around the wheel well which also has patches i need to sort its a never ending problem :@

and anyone got any ideas how to get this off or what i could use to paint/dye it black it the original headlining ive used vanish and neet bleach but nothink will budge it :/ ?

Just some normal halfords satin black and do i need to primer or laquare? ??

just the black on its own, no primer, i use it on dash rails, once its dry polish it up a little, and it works a treat, just make sure you clean the headlining 1st, use a warm damp cloth, just to get any muck off it, then do several light coats of paint until its to the desired colour

not done anythink this week been busy fixing my other mini as it decided to spring a petrol leek lol all sorted now but car smells like a fuel station and have now decided it wont be done for August as i havent got the money to do it im getting it shot blasted with is 400 plus 300 for painting then what ever it costs to rebuild the front subframe and interior

been doing a bit of work today and the best thing was the postman delivered the new panel :thumbsup:
was gonna get the scuttle fitted but coundnt as when i removed the last of the lip rust there was nothink behind pics will explain
