well today went down and done some more work and found more rust heres the pics

Im just past that stage

Loving the estate, so when do you think you will have it back on the road? or do you no mind?

hello people haven't been on again for some time not much done had lost all motivation to do any think to her then my girlfriend asked me to go on holiday to skegness with her in august and drive down in the mini then i thought bang get my arse into hear get the estate done for when i leave August 13th so i got my arse into gear ordered new panels so tomorrow i will have one side of the new floors in then chop the other out go Sunday and finish the floors then stick outer sills on then get it off the subframes and on a crate/roll over jig get subframes powder coated engine rebuilt get this mini back on the road

heres the one side of the floor out

i got some sections of this window surround panel if you want them? i drilled out the spot welds so some fairly good sections that can be reused, and also the actual window frames are up for grabs as i have no use for them since im converting mine into a clubvan estate lol

I've already got those new bits should be going on soon and how much for the outer frames and clubvan sounds good

you can have them for nothing mate, you just have to collect them as a little fragile to post

Well yesterday i went on a mad one as before i just messed around and basically did nothing on the mini so yesterday i started at 10 and by 2 I've got the floor all tacked in place just gotta do sill closing plate then seem weld her in

Real lucky bugger im looking for an estate for my mum so when im driving she wont be in my car all time and ive gave her the mini bug again and she fancys an estate god so lucky id have had this in a heartbeat!! good luck with it!

WOW nice install mate how hard was the floor to do? much trimming to fit? where did you get them froma nd how much?

I was surprised by how good the fitment the only bits that would have needed trimming was the side which weld to the tunnel but as tunnel was rotten i cut it away and remake the bottom of the tunnel with the floor and also the rear of the floor te indented was about 10-15 mm to long so had to cut it to size but apart from that perfect and of i remember correctly it was around 65 for each some
